Temple of Solace
As a general rule our society does not do death, dying, loss or grief well. The Temple of Solace remains one of those places to retreat to. It is a place to find solace and comfort.

The World of Soul Food
The Soul Food Cafe welcomed international writers and artists between 1999-2010. Its mission was to promote writing and art-making as a daily practice. It made full use of emerging technologies such as the Bravenet Forum, Blogger, Yahoo Groups and Word Press.
This wonderful, free resource, remains online and is a testimony to collaborative work: THE SOUL FOOD CAFE
Roads Well Travelled
The 2006 Adventure Calendar preserved one of the Lemurian Journey's with Enchanteur. Likewise, the journey of the heart, along the Soul Food Silk Road was preserved after work completed in 2005. You can find links to the collection of the Soul Food Cafe Advent Calendars housed at Squidoo.
Wired Garden
The Wild Garden AdvenTURE Calendar takes people through twenty five steps towards understanding how the internet can be used as an interactive publishing tool. The Wild Garden introduced Soul Food community members to the potential of the web. This was made in 2005 and while there have been rapid developments in social networking in the interim, the Wild Garden provides important insight into the history of what became known as Web 2.

Web Optimisation
This is the true joy in life: the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of nature, instead of a feverish selfish clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it, it is my privilege to do whatever I can. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me; it is a sort of bright torch which I have got hold of for a moment and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.
