The Third Act

Carl Jung, wrote that “we may distinguish between a psychology of the morning of life and the psychology of its afternoon……” In the second half of life we yearn for wholeness. We yearn to remember the parts of ourselves that we have forgotten, to nourish those we have starved…to allow those parts of ourselves that have been neglected, ignored or otherwise suppressed to begin to emerge. It is now or never and this path towards wholeness is unique for each person.

I think TED is one of the best things to happen to the internet EVER! And Jane Fonda is an amazing woman who has undergone amazing life transformations. I have been going through the life review and it is as wonderful as it is awful! I highly recommend it.

The wisdom of Jane’s words bring my own life into focus and has me reviewing those earlier days when I believed, and often still do, that I am somehow not good enough. Bless Ms. Fonda, and you too for sharing it with us.
